Glass Coating
Pearl Nano Glass is designed to coat the glass surface with a very durable layer (7Mohs) that will help repel rain and dirt, making it much harder for these contaminants to adhere to the glass. - How long does Pearl Nano Base or Top last?
Base can last up to 2-3 years and Top can last up to 2 years - Can a vehicle go through an automatic car wash after it’s get coated?
NO, we do not recommend any vehicle go through a automatic car wash. The harsh brush they use will scratch up the coating and harm the coating reducing the durability. - What do you recommend on maintaining the coating?
Hand wash your vehicle and dry them properly. We recommend using PH balanced wash soap without wax or any polymer and high quality drying microfiber. - Is touch-less wash okay?
Yes it fine to use but will not be as effective as hand washing. - Is Pearl Nano Coating “Permanent” coating?
NO, we do not false advertise our coating to be “permanent”. Our coating will create a “Permanent Bond” to the surface it applied to, just like clear coat does to base paint.
Our coating are Semi-Permanent and will degrade overtime. - What is Semi-Permanent Coating?
A strong, cross-linked film that is typically based on strong base elements (e.g. silica, ceramic) which is more resistant to degradation than a sealant or wax. - Will coating prevent water spotting?
Coating is prone to water spotting and sometimes can etch through the coating if standing water is left alone and not dried. - Can you still use wax or sealant over the coating?
No, wax or sealant will not adhere to the coating properly due to the silica content it has. Wax or sealant were design to bond with non-ceramic and clean paint surfaces. - If you can’t use wax or sealant, what can we use to maintain the coating?
Use ceramic base sealant, detail spray, and water-less wash like our Purple Perfection Ceramic Spray. - Is ceramic coating scratch proof?
No, it’s scratch resistant
